How do I send hen party invitations online?
Create the invitation, add your hens, and HeyVite emails each one her own private link, or you share each hen's link yourself over WhatsApp or text, which is how most hen groups run it. No app and no account needed to open it or reply, and every yes lands on your dashboard as it happens.
What's the difference between a hen party, a hen do and a hen night?
They're the same celebration at different sizes. A hen night is one evening out; a hen weekend is the full trip away; "hen do" and "hen party" are the catch-alls that cover both. Americans call the same thing a bachelorette party. If that's your word, HeyVite has a page under that name too.
Can the maid of honour organise it with me?
Yes. Add her as a co-host and she sees what you see: the guest list, every RSVP, the sign-up lists. Either of you can manage the guest list and the what-to-bring lists (sending the invitations and messages stays with the host) so the planning genuinely splits in two instead of one person forwarding everything to the other.
Can hens RSVP to each part of the weekend separately?
Yes. Add the dinner, the activity, the night out and the recovery brunch as sub-events, and each hen replies to the pieces she can make, all from the same private link. The hen who can only do Saturday night still gets counted, and the cottage never over-books.
What about the stag do?
Everything works the same for the stags: a private link per guest, sub-events for the golf, the go-karts and the night out, sign-up lists for whoever's bringing what, and one dashboard for the best man. The party design collection covers the full range, from tasteful to neon.
Is the hen party guest list private?
Yes, by default, on every plan, free ones too. Every hen gets a private invitation of their own, and there is no public guest list and no name search by default, so nothing leaks to the bride if the do is a surprise. Only you and your co-host see who's in.
How much does it cost?
It's free to start. Designing, sending and RSVP tracking cost nothing, and every design comes with every plan. The free plan covers up to 75 guests, which fits almost every hen do; bigger parties take one payment for this one event ($15 for up to 150 guests, $45 for up to 300 and $110 for up to 900). No subscription.
