Why hosts choose it

Each guest opens their own invitation and RSVP through a personal link. Guests cannot browse your list or search for another invitation unless you enable name search for that event. Share links individually: anyone with a guest’s link can view and reply to that invitation. You and co-hosts with the relevant permissions can manage responses in the dashboard.

A personal invitation link per guest

Each guest receives a personal invitation link showing their invitation and RSVP details, not a shared page with a list to browse. Other guests cannot look up another person’s invitation or browse the full guest list.

A link that belongs to one guest

A personal link opens one guest’s invitation and RSVP. Anyone who obtains that link can open it and reply, so share it with the intended guest directly rather than posting it publicly.

No shared list, no name search, unless you ask for one

On every plan, free ones included, an event opens with no public roster and no way to type a name and find an invitation. The full guest list stays with you, the host. Hosts who want one open, share-anywhere link (a game night dropped into a group chat, say) can switch name search on for that event; it is off unless they choose it.

The replies are yours to read

See who declined, who is bringing a plus-one and who has not replied in the host dashboard. Co-hosts with RSVP permission can help manage those responses.

Dignity by default

HeyVite does not run analytics or session replay on invitation and RSVP pages. Your guests see the invitation without ads, while you choose whether to allow name search for the event.

How does guest privacy work?

Guest Privacy gives every guest a personal invitation link to a private copy of your card. By default, guests cannot browse your guest list or search for another person's invitation.

  1. Add your guests

    Build your list privately in your host dashboard. There is no page for guests to browse and no name for a stranger to look up, unless you deliberately open that one event to a share-anywhere link, which is what turns name search on.

  2. Each guest gets their own invitation

    HeyVite gives each guest their own private invitation, kept separate from everyone else's.

  3. Everyone replies in private

    Guests RSVP through their own link, and replies land on your dashboard in real time. What they share with you (dietary notes, addresses, answers to your questions) is written for the host, and stays on your side of the event.

How does HeyVite keep guest lists private?
Each guest gets a personal invitation link. By default, guests cannot browse your guest list or search for another person’s invitation. You and co-hosts with the relevant permissions can see the list and responses. A host can enable name search for an event they want to share through an open link; it is off by default.
Can guests see who else is invited?
By default, guests cannot browse your guest list or search for another person’s invitation. Each guest uses a personal link to view their invitation and reply. If you enable name search, people with your event’s shared link can look up invitations by name.
How is this different from Evite, Paperless Post or Partiful?
HeyVite starts each new event with personal guest links and name search off on every plan. Your guests cannot browse the full list. If you want one open link that people can use to look up their invitation by name, you can enable name search for that event.
Can someone reply on another guest's behalf?
Anyone with a guest’s personal link can view and reply to that invitation, so share each link directly with its intended guest. Name search is off by default. If you turn it on, someone with the event’s open link can search for a name and reply under it.
Is my guest data kept private?
Your guest list is not shown to other guests by default. You and co-hosts with RSVP permission can see responses in the dashboard. HeyVite does not run analytics or session replay on invitation and RSVP pages.
