What exactly does a guest see when they scan?
A simple page asking for their name. They type it and see every published chart where they have a seat: the table, the seat number, and your floor plan if you uploaded one.
Can guests see other people's seats?
No. The lookup shows a guest only the rows that match their own name. There is no full chart to scroll through and no guest list to browse.
What if a guest's name is not found?
Ask them to check the spelling, or search the name as it appears on your guest list. If it still fails, the name was not in the imported seat list — you can add it from your dashboard in seconds.
Is the lookup page public?
It is reachable by anyone who scans your printed code, and it reveals nothing except the seat of the name that is typed in. If your event is password-protected, the lookup asks for the event password first.
When should I print the QR code?
Any time. The code is tied to your event, not to its contents, so you can print your signage weeks ahead and keep editing seats until doors open.
